What: Jan. 22-24 Level I: Learn Tibetan from the very beginning
or come for a thorough review of the basics

Where: 300 Main St. (above Starbucks) Ketchum, ID

Suggested Donation: $150 (Partial attendance is possible)

            Study Materials:          Level I Manual : $30 (available from TLI or on-site).
                                                  Read more about the Level I manual and other Level I materials.
                                                  Materials will be available at the beginning of the course. Dictionaries,
                                                  flash cards, and other materials will also be available for purchase
                                                  throughout the seminar.

            Instructor:                 David Curtis completed the traditional three-year retreat under
                                               H.E. Kalu Rinpoche in 1992 and founded the Tibetan Language
                                               Institute in 1996. He has an academic background in classical
                                               languages and has been teaching Tibetan to Western students for
                                               16 years. He combines his linguistic skills with a practitioner's
                                               knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism. Rinpoches have given him the
                                              titles of Lama and a Acharya (Master Teacher).
