Lojong: The Tibetan Tradition of Mind Training
One-Day Retreat in Missoula on Saturday December 18, 2010
With David Curtis
Mind Training (Lojong in Tibetan) is a practice that came to Tibet about a thousand years ago. It is a Buddhist practice in which the practitioner aspires to achieve complete enlightenment through the development of compassion and loving kindness for all beings. We will learn and practice techniques for transforming our minds and hearts. These techniques are meant to be practiced in the midst of busy daily life.
David was first introduced to this practice during his 5-year residence with Tibetan lamas 25 years ago at Kalu Rinpochey’s monastic college in France.
