Tibetan Language....It is a rare opportunity. David is not just a language
teacher; he is part of an authentic Dharma lineage."
--Anam
Thubten Rinpoche
"The unique methods of language instruction
offered by the Institute have
drawn large numbers of students, and the speed and swiftness with which they

All you need to do (1) Register for the class on the TLI website. Don't wait as this teleconference technology has limits on how many can attend.
4) Have to miss a class? Just want to listen to the class a second time? Not a problem because included in your registration is a phone number to access a telephone recording of the class (not a computer download). Students tell us over and over that this is a very useful and convenient aspect to the class. |

Student Comments on TLI's Courses
Learning
Tibetan from David Curtis is definitely one of life's better experiences.
--K.J., VA
I
love this course. I feel as if I am finally making progress in Tibetan. Thanks,
David! Your method works. --W.S., New Orleans, LA
These
telephone lessons have been so enlightening and enriching to my practice. It's
been so good to learn right at home, with my cup of tea! Yet there's a
wonderful teacher present, and other classmates, and the opportunity to ask
questions....It can't get any better than that. --M.M., AZ
I am taking the level I class and enjoying it
tremendously. I have [now] been studying regularly which is helping me feel
confident that I'll be able to read and continue learning Tibetan beyond this
first class. --C.P., Palisades, CA
Just wanted to say how great the virtual class was
last night. David's presentation was so interesting, tight, and focused. The
whole thing was a lot of fun--so thank you! --R.A.,
Polson, MT

classical
languages and taught Tibetan to hundreds of Western students

knowledge
of Tibetan Buddhism. Gochen Tulku Rinpoche (Tulku
Sang-ngag
Rinpoche) has given him the title Acharya (master teacher).
