TIBETAN LANGUAGE INSTITUTE’S PACKAGESThe Tibetan Language Institute now offers several packages of study materials. It is a delight for us to serve you and further our mutual interest in the study of the Dharma and the Tibetan language.
TLI focuses on your continuing efforts to learn the Tibetan language. With this in mind, David Curtis (the founder and executive director) has organized various materials into packages to facilitate studies. For beginning students, you will see that there are the Level I and II Packages—praised by many for their accessibility. For those of you wishing to go further with your studies, there are also two reader packages: one grouping the materials on the Thirty-seven Practices (including the wonderful Dharma Flashcards); the other grouping the materials on the Jewel Ornament of Liberation by Gampopa. Another package is the Colloquial Package for learning spoken Tibetan. These materials (especially the Learn Tibetan CD-ROM) are easy and fun to use—a quick way to pick up lots of vocabulary.
